About Me

I’m addicted to that feeling you get when something truly inspires you.
For me that ‘something’ is food, and I’ve been using it for the past decade
as a source to inspire others.

What I’ve learnt from years of cooking, teaching, feeding and playing is that
food is so much more than a blanket for hunger;
it’s cellular nourishment for mind, body and soul.

That’s how The Inspired Table was born.

Who am I?

I’m Jordanna Levin. I cook, eat and write with colour . . . but mostly eat.

I dig crochet, crystals, sunrises and the lunar cycle, but I’m also a sucker for schedules, practicality and
good-old fashioned lists.

Born to a creative bohemian ma and a corporate powerhouse pa, I’m a perfect fusion of the two.
A gypsy with her feet planted firmly on the ground, a green smoothie junkie who fails to function without her morning coffee(s) and a trained journo who quit reading the news because it was killing her buzz.

I’m at my happiest when I’m nourishing people’s body and soul.

So I made it my mission do just that, and have spent the past decade collecting information, expanding my skill set and diving head first into new adventures to become a nurturer, nourisher and next-level food alchemist.

What do I do?

I cook…

My cooking is steeped in the joy, passion and love I have for food.

I infuse each and every mouthful with delicious intention, so that your body and tastebuds are nourished and activated on a cellular level.

My culinary utensils include creative recipe development, Ayurvedic philosophy, sourcing seasonal produce, inspired food combinations,  and nutritional functionality, and I love to unite these in my catering services and soul nourishing recipes.

My mission is simple: to heal people’s complicated relationship with food. You see, food is energy and what we put it in our mouths should nourish and excite us, not be a source of stress and anxiety.

Let me show you how…

I create connection…

While I’m all for nourishing the body with nutritious and inspiring food, I’m equally passionate about nurturing the soul.

The best way to ignite the soul is with meaningful connection, and it is the intention behind all my events.

My monthly event series, Inspired Lunar Nights, creates an opportunity for the conscious collective to unite through meditation, intention setting, manifestation and community.

My connection to the moon cycles has transformed my connection to myself and in turn the people around me, and now I’m passionate about creating that connection for others.
